BLACK & BLUE (2021)

Black & Blue is an original score and movement piece. Set against an azure backdrop illuminating a shadowed intimacy of passion, struggle and hope. Passion for this life, struggle in the everyday and hope for what is to come.

“I loved writing this piece… really, really loved every moment of the process. It was to celebrate Black History Month and I had the pleasure of bringing young composer Alanna Crouch on to the scene, I am incredibly proud of her and how the piece turned out.”

I CATCH YOU (2021)
Written by Colette Brown
Produced by Four of Wands Productions

When enough is enough you need to shine a spotlight. Becoming brave not bitter, and rise up!

“I love writing for spoken work and dance, just pure beauty and nothing else. Sometimes it feels like we forget about that when we get caught up in the business side of the industry. Our love for our art is the reason we all started and these kind of pieces just bring me back to that feeling.”

“Thanks also to my Welsh wonder of a cousin Saran for her beautiful cello playing on this piece."

But as the challenges mount, the couple must learn to communicate and adapt to save their relationship from being torn apart.

“Bailey’s debut, and what a debut it is… I chose a very simple and conventional sonic palette for this film, but I am very proud of how the themes were exemplified in the score.”
